What we do

Everything we do is built around four connected pillars that reflect both our charitable mission and the practical change we want to create.

Research

Building the evidence that drives meaningful change

We conduct and commission independent research that advances understanding of neurodiversity within cybersecurity.

Working alongside employers, researchers, educators and neurodivergent professionals, we generate evidence that informs better policies, workplace practices and career opportunities. Our research doesn't stop at identifying challenges; it helps create practical solutions that improve outcomes for individuals, organisations and the wider profession.

Education

Sharing practical guidance that improves understanding

Awareness is only the beginning. We develop practical resources, events and thought leadership that help employers, educators and the wider cybersecurity community better understand neurodiversity and create environments where different ways of thinking are recognised and supported.

By turning research into practical guidance, we help organisations move from good intentions to meaningful action.

Advocacy

Championing equitable opportunities throughout the cybersecurity profession

We work to remove barriers that prevent neurodivergent people from accessing, progressing and succeeding in cybersecurity careers.

By amplifying lived experience, promoting evidence-based practice and encouraging more inclusive recruitment and employment, we advocate for lasting change across the profession. Our goal is not just greater awareness but greater opportunity.

Partnership

Bringing together organisations and individuals committed to creating lasting change

Creating a more inclusive cybersecurity profession needs collaboration. We work with employers, universities, professional bodies, government organisations, researchers, charities and industry partners who share our commitment to improving opportunities for neurodivergent people.

Together, we can achieve far more than any organisation could alone.

Looking ahead

NeuroCyber has a vision to become the UK's leading charity advancing neuro-inclusive cybersecurity.

Over the coming years we will

  • Conduct and publish independent research that informs policy and practice.

  • Develop practical resources that help employers create more neuro-inclusive workplaces.

  • Build partnerships across industry, academia, government and the third sector.

  • Support neurodivergent people at every stage of the cybersecurity career journey.

  • Deliver events, thought leadership and educational initiatives that drive meaningful change.

  • Create opportunities for organisations and individuals to contribute to a more inclusive future.

No single organisation can transform an industry on its own. That's why collaboration sits at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you're an employer, educator, researcher, policymaker, cybersecurity professional or someone with lived experience, we'd love you to join us in creating a cybersecurity profession where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Contact us now: neurocyber@prpr.co.uk or via our contact form
