Our research programme builds on the foundations established by the NeuroUnity Report—one of the first evidence-based studies to explore the experiences of neurodivergent professionals across the cybersecurity employee lifecycle.
The report examined barriers and enablers from recruitment and onboarding through to career development, progression and retention, providing valuable insight into the experiences of neurodivergent people working within the sector.
While awareness has grown since the report was published, many of the challenges it identified remain. NeuroCyber's future research programme builds on this work, developing new evidence, practical guidance and tools that help organisations create genuinely neuro-inclusive workplaces.
