NeuroCyber shortlisted for Diversity Champion Award in Unsung Hero Awards

We’re delighted to announce that NeuroCyber has been shortlisted for the Diversity Champion Award in the Unsung Hero Awards.

The shortlist recognises individuals and organisations making a meaningful difference to diversity and inclusion and we’re incredibly proud to see NeuroCyber recognised for its work to improve opportunities and career outcomes for neurodivergent people in cybersecurity.

At NeuroCyber, we believe that difference is strength. Neurodivergent people bring valuable perspectives, skills and ways of thinking to cybersecurity, yet barriers to entering and progressing within the industry remain.

Our work is focused on helping to change that from raising awareness of neurodiversity across the cybersecurity community to encouraging organisations to adopt more inclusive approaches to recruitment, working practices and career development. Being shortlisted for the Diversity Champion Award is particularly meaningful because it highlights the importance of the work being done to make cybersecurity a more inclusive industry. It also provides an opportunity to shine a light on the many people working behind the scenes to create positive change.
